Sunrise is one of the most simple and straightforward songs we’ve ever written — but also one of the most meaningful. It was born in 2020, during dark and uncertain times — not only for our band, but for all Belarusians. This song carries the spirit of a battle cry, an anthem, and a prayer at once. It speaks of an inner fight that begins just after you thought the previous one was over. It’s about light — and the stubborn hope to reach it. After the repression and the forced escape of Nadzeya and Vladimir, Sunrise took on a new meaning. Today, it helps us hold on to the belief that even in the darkest moments, the dawn is still ahead.
